Zanzibar Research Centre for Socio-Economic and Policy Analysis (ZRCP) was established in 2021 as a multidisciplinary think tank dedicated to conduct cutting-edge research, policy analysis and technical assignments. The center was founded to address the need for evidence-based policymaking to foster socio-economic development and inclusive economic growth in Zanzibar.
As the leading think tank in Zanzibar, we pride ourselves on over four years of experience in driving evidence-based research and policy innovation. With a team of more than 30 dedicated professionals, we have produced over 50 research papers that address critical socio-economic and governance issues. Our 100% participatory approach ensures that every initiative is inclusive, collaborative, and impactful, fostering sustainable solutions for Zanzibar’s development.
